  Enjoyed the crab salad and my wife liked her crab sandwiches. Service fine and loos much better than anticipated. Great views too and more relaxed than Sam's next door. I like it.

  We stopped by for a few hours while on a birthday week with friends, on a scortching hot afternoon in August. The walk down to the beach was worthy of an Indiana Jones film on it's own! It is very steep and uneven - please take care when you try it!
  It is worth the effort though, as the beach and views are lovely! We managed to grab a round table close to the little fish and chips kiosk thingy and wondwered why no one was going to the pub - they just queued and queued for chips and didn't seem to want anything else. We, of course, wanted beer! So we took it in turns to head over and bring back beers for the men and wine for the ladies. There were quite a few people sitting outside the pub but not a soul inside, so it was quick and easy to get drinks (and food if we wanted) rather than stand in line for ages for fish and chips!
  All in all, a very nice few hours were spent at the beach / pub. Now all we had to do was climb back up that hill!

  Good meals, awesome puddings.. Portions should be smaller really. Friendly staff. Just would make sense to open the kitchen a wee bit earlier as now every table tried to order at the same moment.
